“A NEW CHALLENGER HAS ENTERED THE RING!”

Um but yeah, added a couple new sites to the blogroll…RUNNING LIFE. Basically like a blog,  a lot of it is news directly from Japan dealing with the racing/drifting world. Read a really interesting article on the supposed downfall of D1GP. Also adding WRECKED MAGAZINE’s blog. They deal more with Formula D, so if you are into that then check them out.

I personally prefer D1 but it seems like the golden-days in that league are ending. Formula D events are fun but I like the restrictions of the cars in D1 more. Now I did not say “Awww man FD SUCKS!”…No no, I am just comparing the two.

But check out the video that was recently featured on SpeedHunters. Made by Will Roegge. Truly top notch quality of action being captured at the Formula D competition in New Jersey of this year. I cannot figure out how to put it on my page so just go to their blog through my blogroll and watch it.

Long time, no see…

Just a couple of things that I have found on blogs recently…

First off, I found (and ultimately had to jack the post because it is so badass!) this AE86 coupe on SpeedHunters, which I think is the epitome of a raw and purpose-built (or what my buddy and I refer to as “junk racers”) drift car. It is the latest hit on the feature list because of its character and obvious display of soul. Check out their blog for the full feature or you can just see the pics here… Like the article at SH says, you may think it is hideous, but I think this thing RULES.

Second, another blog I recently added to my sushi-blog-roll is VIOLENT RUNNING TRIBE. It is a blog run by a group of enthusiasts that tune sick rwd platforms. Take a look at their blog, it is definitely worth the time. You can find the link over there to the right.
